• About Me:
I grew up in Eugene, Oregon and left to attend Western Oregon University. After
graduating with a Bachelors degree in Communication, I returned to Eugene and
worked for just over 2 years for Cummins Northwest, a diesel engine company.
While there, I supervised technicians working on Cummins Engines and ONAN Generators
in the RV service department and was also the receptionist for the branch. I
came to RDI in search of a more challenging position and yes, I found it! In
my spare time, I enjoy friends, family, camping, planning weddings (not my own
yet!) and shopping for shoes!
• What I do at RDI:
I am a Program Assistant for the CORE Program and for the Development Director.
Since one of my supervisors lives across the state, a lot of my time during the
day is spent responding and sending emails to CORE Target Areas and Statewide
Partners. In addition to this, I also plan the CORE retreats and I am the editor
of the CORE Newsletter that is sent out every other month among many other things.
As the Development Director’s assistant, I am currently helping with sponsorships,
raffles and exhibits for Regards to Rural. I also assist with gathering information
on foundations and information for proposals. I love my JOB!!
