A Dinner and Auction Benefit for RDI

The pear has offered sweetness and sustenance for thousands of years. It symbolizes affection and when shown in groupings, has been used to symbolize community. Despite their delicate appearance, pear trees are notoriously hardy. In 2005, thanks to its status as the top-selling tree fruit, the pear was adopted as the official fruit of Oregon.
