Interested in Making Your Next Grant Proposal a Success?

The Learn By Doing - Grant Writing Workshop Series is being offered to all nonprofit organizations in Polk, Yamhill, Marion, and Tillamook Counties in the summer of 2017.

The workshop series is designed to help beginning and intermediate grant writers working in nonprofit organizations increase their skills at developing project proposals and successfully planning, writing, and attaining grant funding from local and regional funding sources.

The four-part series will be held at The Henry Hill Educational Support Center in Independence, Oregon, beginning in June.
Topics include
  • Positioning Your Organization to be Grant Smart
  • Grant Writing and Grant Review
  • Strategic Thinking and Budgeting
  • Project and Program Evaluation and Organizational Site Visits
The training is facilitated by Meredith Howell, PhD. In 2010 Meredith developed the Learn By Doing-Grant Writing Series curriculum to help rural grant writers gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience.
Only $95 to attend. The series will be limited to 40 participants, and early registration is encouraged. Click here to register today.
