I was born and raised on the Islands of Puerto Rico, where I completed my academic studies at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez “¡Colegio!”. My passion for leadership and economic development began when I served as an AmeriCorps volunteer working with rural, at-risk communities in Puerto Rico. Since then, I haven’t stopped serving communities and helping individuals achieve their goals. I moved to Oregon in 2016 with my family to look for a place where my knowledge, skills, and passion for service could be put to use for the betterment of rural communities. In my free time, you may find me reading a good book and enjoying a good cup of coffee.
