New Extended Deadline: Apply Now for the Greater Palouse Rural Community Leadership Program
Apply by January 12! Greater Palouse-area residents who want to make a difference in their communities are encouraged to apply for the Rural Community Leadership Program.
Designed and delivered by RDI, this leadership training is made possible by Inland Northwest Community Foundation, Empire Health Foundation, Avista Foundation, and community sponsors. Classes are planned to serve Greater Palouse area and will be held beginning in February. Click here for a complete schedule.
The free leadership program focuses on developing participants’ community leadership skills. A typical class includes 25 to 35 people, with participants ranging from high school students to retired seniors and leadership experience ranging from emerging to seasoned.
- Serve: Those who have an expressed desire to serve their rural community
- Expand Skills: Those who are working toward cultivating and expanding their leadership skills to advance within their organization or personal lives
- Get Connected: Those who would like to get connected outside of their present sector, industry, or field
- Make a Difference: Those who would like to cultivate a multi-faceted approach to solving problems by working across sectors and networks
In rural communities we understand that leadership is not a position, it's an activity! For more than a decade, we have designed and delivered rural community leadership programs in Oregon, Washington, and Siskiyou County, CA. We believe that anyone at any time has the opportunity to grow the skills to be a leader, including you!
