WealthWorks Northwest Exploration Grants Awarded

RDI is excited to announce that six groups from around the state of Oregon have been awarded a WealthWorks Northwest Exploration grant. Each group has received $20,000 to go toward exploring their value chain idea. Congratulations goes out to the following coordinating agencies:

  • Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council serving Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson Counties for their local food products value chain idea
  • Columbia Pacific Economic Development District serving the North Coast region for their agriculture value chain idea
  • NeighborWorks Umpqua serving Douglas, Coos, and Curry Counties for their local food system value chain idea
  • Oregon State University Extension Service - Baker serving Baker City and Baker County for their craft beer value chain idea
  • South Central Oregon Economic Development District serving Lake County for their Hay Compacting and Beef Processing Facilities value chain idea
  • Wheeler County for their harvesting of juniper value chain idea

At least one of these groups will move on to the next phase, the WealthWorks Northwest Construction phase, and will be awarded $160,000 to start implementing their value chain in their community.
